Greetings to our WONDERFUL Bethel Family. Well…..here we are in a full lockdown for this COVID-19. Isn’t this crazy? Who would have ever thought this would happen? But here we are.
Pastor Kim & I wanted to send a further update to keep us on the same page with the latest news. First of all, if you haven’t heard, there’ll be NO SERVICES at Bethel Church for the next several weeks. NONE. In compliance with directives from Governor Evers, as well as many health officials in our state and nation, we’re directed to stay at home and only leave our homes when things are absolutely necessary, as in getting groceries to keep ourselves and our families fed. We’re choosing to comply with this, and though this produces many difficulties, it’s certainly in the best interest of everyone that we stay isolated from one another so as not to spread this dreaded virus.
We so want to stay connected with you! It PAINS US to be apart from you. To help alleviate this mandated isolation, we’re producing a DAILY VIDEO DEVOTIONAL that’s available at our church’s website, Facebook page, and YouTube channel. These devotionals will vary from day to day in format and length, but this gives us an opportunity to stay in touch with you and to bring you encouragement, hope, feeding, and ministry while we’re separated from each other. PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD CONCERNING THESE DEVOTIONALS to any and all. These are “Uncertain Times,” but the word of God gives us a “Certain Solution” and answer during these times, and this is what we want to latch onto. Not only are we endeavoring to reach out to you in phone calls, videos, FaceTime chats and texts, but we want YOU to reach out to OTHERS as well. Call people…check on friends…reach out. Though we’re ALL in isolation, we EACH can do our part by trying to stay connected. Pastor Kim & I have been AMAZED at the response we’ve received from these devotionals; now it’s YOUR chance to be ministers as well.
To further enhance our sense of being together, each Sunday, at 10:00am, we’ll have our service Live Streamed. We encourage you to go to our website and not only watch, but participate in the singing. We’ll have a special service on Sunday, March 29th, as we join together for Communion. This will be a very special time as we celebrate the great love and sacrifice of our Savior. We encourage you to use whatever you have available to participate…juice, coffee, pop, water, crackers, bread…whatever. The key desire is PARTICIPATION.
Lastly, we so want to thank those who’ve continued your faithful giving during our separation. Pastor Kim and I are looking to the Lord for His provision for our church and are believing that every need will be supplied. (Phil 4:19)
Until we see you or talk to you, please know: WE LOVE YOU, WE LOVE YOU, WE LOVE YOU!!!!! Stand strong in faith, prayer, and the word. JESUS IS IN CONTROL.
Jude :24-25 To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy— 25 to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.
