At Bethel, there’s really only one thing we’re about: Jesus Christ. Jesus has done it all. Through His sacrifice on the cross, He made a way for us to be right with God. Through His word, He teaches us how to live and renews us daily. Through His spirit, He empowers us to live a life of victory over sin and free from bondage and addiction. At Bethel, it’s all about Jesus and helping people find new life in Him.

We meet on Sundays at 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Wednesday at 7:00 PM at 2361 N Hastings Way, right at the intersection of Bus. 53 and The North Crossing.

At Bethel, we believe that the church belongs to Jesus (Matthew 16:18). We believe that Jesus died for his church (Ephesians 5:25) and that through his sacrifice, on the cross, he purchased our salvation (Acts 20:28).

The church belongs to Jesus. Therefore, He alone is the one who can determine the church’s mission. Jesus instructed us to preach the gospel (Luke 24:47) and make disciples (Matthew 28:18-20).

This is what we believe Bethel Church is called to do. This is the assignment that Jesus has given us. This is the assignment for which he has empowered us (Acts 1:8), and this is the assignment that we, in God’s grace, seek to accomplish every day of our lives. Our plan to accomplish this mission can be found in these four simple words:

We structure everything we do at Bethel around connecting people to God in new birth, helping them grow in their faith through inspired preaching and teaching, serving one another and going into the community, workplace, and neighborhoods with the good news of Jesus. Life is complicated enough on its own….we think church should be simple.

People need to be connected to God

People are connected to God through Jesus’ work on the cross. People need to turn from sin and trust in Him. It’s only through faith in Jesus that we receive God’s grace of salvation from sin, death, hell and bondage.

Sundays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays

As you can clearly see, there are MANY opportunities to “Connect” at Bethel Church. We don’t simply have these many services because that’s what churches do. We’re having services so that people might meet Jesus and fellow believers to have their faith built. When the gospel is faithfully preached, the Holy Spirit touches people’s hearts and people are saved. When the Word of God is preached, taught, and modeled, faith in Jesus is the result.

Healthy things grow

From that connection, a follower of Jesus should be growing in their faith; growing in godliness, generosity, compassion, mercy, joy…GROWTH. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, this healthy growth produces good fruit. We believe that true growth happens in the context of authentic relationships. We want every believer to be in a relationship with someone who can love, serve and lead them in their walk with Jesus. Jesus had a core group of friends that He “did life” with; this should be our practice.

Everyone was created on purpose,

For a purpose

In addition to growing in godliness, we believe as someone follows Jesus’ example, they are led to serve others. Because Jesus showed us what service and self-sacrifice looked like as He washed His disciple’s feet, we in turn serve and love others in practical ways. That service may be in the choir, ushering, volunteering at Bethel Christian School, grounds maintenance, janitorial, sound and lighting or any other area. The Holy Spirit gives every believer special gifts that are to be used in serving others and propelling Jesus’ mission, the church and God’s Kingdom forward. God has something for YOU to do in His church. When we serve in the church, we play a vital role in people meeting Jesus. Remember, one person can’t do it all; YOUR service is important at Bethel.

We all have a story to tell

As the church, we each have a story to tell; Jesus has changed us! We’re not who we once were. We live a new life. Not only that, our old life has been redeemed and transformed. Because of this transformation, we have something precious to share with our families, friends, co-workers, and neighbors: the GOOD NEWS of the Gospel. Remember, the core of the Gospel is LOVE…the love of God for a world desperately in need of authentic love. We not only send our members into the Chippewa Valley with the Good News, we support nearly 30 missionaries on a monthly basis with over one-third of our annual budget!!! We boldly declare that the sun never sets on the missionaries that Bethel Church sponsors.

We extend a simple invitation for you to join the believers at Bethel, and allow God to do something wonderful in your life.
